Hello, Received my pre-ordered copy of your book on Monday. It truly is the most well thought out, and complete, book on reproducing an antique Baltimore that I've ever seen. Really a wonderful, beautiful accomplishment on your part. Thank you! I look forward to creating these blocks with great anticipation. Michele
Welcome! Just saw your book (it looks like a gottahave!) on the Inspired By Antique Quilts blog, and I'm looking forward to following your blog. Best wishes to you!
welcome to blogland- your book is calling my name- LOUDLY!! what a beautiful project you've given to those of us who love to applique. Can't wait to read more postings.
So glad you're doing this, Barbara. I've always thought that for gardeners and people who love the symbolism of gardens, such a quilt should exist. I pre-ordered through Amazon when I first saw the book. I seldom "copy" anything (alas for me), but I knew I'd found a good inspiration. Looking forward to receiving my copy. Also to your blog.
Too funny. And you kind of have to read it twice.
ReplyDeleteOkay, you've got your feet wet, now show us some antique and reproduction quilts STAT!!!!.
Welcome to Blogland! looking forward to your posts and hopefully sharing more about your book and that amazing quilt, M.E.C. remembered
